After a short stay in the Philadelphia Pennsylvania Independence Rapinoe was transferred to the Boca Raton Florida magicJack. She scored two goals in just eight games helping to guide the magicJack to a third place finish in the league in the same season. The magicJack was disbanded in the latter half of 2011, and the WPS was disbanded in the beginning of 2012. Rapinoe had a brief stint with Sydney Football Club FC (Australian W-League) in the year 2011, prior to going back in the United States. In 2018, she took on the position of cocaptain to the team. Rapinoe's two goals were part of the 4-3-2 United States victory against Australia in the Olympics in 2020 Tokyo.
